In my work I distill visual elements of my surroundings. It is about normal everyday things, like sunshine through a window,  wind in/on a field, raindrops. With this work I wanted to capture  the moment when a cloud of raindrops suddenly transform into a fragment of rainbow.

For me a rainbow is a sign of equality and even more; one of hope. I feel it wants to help us to remember and to value the beauty that the worlds offer us for free. But also as a sign to us as humanity,  to please try to be more careful with our environment that we’ve been entrusted to take care of.
